Also included is a family group session. Families and friends are given the opportunity to ask questions and gain a better understanding of chronic pain and ways to respond in assisting loved ones in managing pain more effectively. This team approach aims to restore the patient’s maximum ability to gain control of their lives, improve the quality of their life and reduce reliance with health care professionals with improved ability to self-manage chronic pain.
We understand that there can be many complications resulting from an injury due to accident. Pain Care’s rehab programs are designed to place emphasis on the restoration of normal functionality and mobility through the combined use of physical training with therapeutic exercise.
Pain Care’s Physical Therapists will use adaptive equipment and assistive devices, such as orthotics, braces and prosthesis, with an aim to enhance and restore quality of life to those with physical impairments or disabilities.
Pain Care will create a detailed and comprehensive medical file for use in your ongoing treatment or legal proceedings.
Independent Medical Examinations (IME)
IMEs may be conducted to determine the cause, extent and medical treatment of a motor vehicle accident-related, work-related or other injury where liability is at issue; whether an individual has reached maximum benefit from treatment; and whether any permanent impairment remains after treatment. We provide independent opinions of the clinical status and prognosis of the individual. Our reports are comprehensive, detailed and defensible. We provide reports from noted medical specialists in the following fields:

Often abbreviated PT, is primarily concerned with the treatment of impairments and disabilities as well as the promotion and improvement of functional ability, mobility, movement potential and general quality of life. Pain Care’s licensed Physical Therapists achieve this through examination, evaluation, diagnosis and physical intervention.
Chiropractic treatment technique involves manual therapy, including manipulation of soft tissues, the spine and other joints in order to diagnosis, treat and prevent disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system. Pain Care’s Chiropractic practitioners concern themselves with decreasing the effects of these disorders on general health.
Involves contact on the body with pressure to enable the working of multiple layers of muscle and connective tissue. Pain Care’s Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) utilize various techniques, to enhance function, aid in the healing process, and promote relaxation and well-being.
A complementary medical methodology, acupuncture has its roots in ancient China and treats patients by manipulating thin, solid needles which have been inserted into key points in the skin along special lines known as meridians.
Patients may notice the effects of this treatment immediately or anywhere from a few hours to days after treatment. Pain Care acupuncture treatments are often successfully combined with other forms of medical and/or physical therapy.
The process of applying either custom, or over the counter, orthotics to provide additional external support for limbs or joints. Depending on your needs, Pain Care’s practitioners will work with you to determine the appropriate treatment.
Pain Care will work with you to determine the best custom foot orthosis, also referred to as orthotics, to treat your unique requirements and body specifics. Our team will use a variety of techniques, including gate analysis, custom fittings and manufacturing to design the orthosis that will aid you in your ability to maintain the lifestyle and activities that you enjoy.
